Housed in a 14th-century tower in Son Canals, this suite occupies the oldest part of the hotel. Thought to have been built by Cistercian monks before the two manor houses were constructed, the tower was probably a lookout post and refuge in the event of pirate invasions. Today, it is a private sanctuary for our guests, boasting 360-degree views of the Tramuntana Mountains. On the roof, a traditional Mallorcan tiled terrace offers breathtaking vistas and ample space to relax. After dark, it affords the perfect opportunity for stargazing. Pick out the constellations in the shimmering night sky through a vintage telescope. Arrayed over three floors, the suite is accessed at ground level, where a narrow stone staircase winds up to a first-floor bedroom. This features a kingsize, four-poster bed and steps up to a spacious marble bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. On the second floor, a cosy living area is furnished in luxurious Mallorcan style.

A sanctuary of relaxation located in Son Fony building, the Sheridan Suite boasts spellbinding views over the village of Deià and the Tramuntana Mountains. It is named in honour of George Sheridan (1923-2008), a much-loved figure in the Deià art community and the man responsible for starting La Residencia’s impressive local art collection. His wife Cecilie continues to own and curate the collection. Guests who book the Sheridan Suite are invited to experience Cecilie’s wealth of knowledge first hand on a private Walk & Talk art tour of Deià’s studios. Comprising 150 sq m, the suite includes a lavish lounge area, decorated in unique Mallorquin style, a sumptuous bedroom, large terrace, private pool (4x7m) and garden.

Honoring La Residencia’s strong links with the artist Joan Miró and his family, this suite offers an idyllic, relaxing retreat. Miró’s creativity is celebrated across the island, but La Residencia is privileged to house the biggest collection of Miró artworks of any hotel. Thirtythree of the artist’s handpicked pieces, on loan from Successió Miró since 2017, are displayed in Café Miró, a cultural platform devoted to his world. Guests of the Miró Suite are invited to admire these works privately, enlightened by our resident artist and Miró expert, Juan Waelder. The one-bedroom suite offers ample space to unwind, with a generous lounge, terrace, private pool and garden. Set in our Son Fony building, it affords stunning village and mountain views. Alongside the plush textiles and authentic Mallorquin décor, splashes of color and whimsy are added by Miró artworks, coffee table tomes and a unique, limited-edition tea set based on the artist’s iconic Sans Titre 1952 – the perfect way to savor Miró’s inimitable magic.

Set in the Son Fony building, the one-bedroom suite offers spectacular views of both the village and mountains. It includes a terrace with a private pool and garden and a luxurious living space. Sumptuous bespoke touches throughout include an ostrich feather lamp, vintage dresser, Indian painted cabinet, rolltop bathtub, peacock chair, Matthew Williamson wallpaper and floral armchairs, a covered pergola outside and floodlit olive trees.

Located in the picturesque village of Deià just a short walk from the hotel, this three-storey private residence is a deluxe, self-catering retreat, offering glorious views of the mountains and sea. It has three bedrooms, two with a queen-size bed and one with twin beds and two bathrooms, one with a bathtub and separate shower and the other with shower only. Guests can be independent with their own fully equipped kitchen, dining and living room with open fireplace, barbecue, outdoor terrace and heated private swimming pool, but are also welcome to use all the hotel facilities, including the pools, restaurants, tennis courts, spa and shuttle service to Cala Deià during summer months. Daily buffet breakfast and daily housekeeping are included in the rate. A welcome package is presented on arrival. No connecting rooms.
